Cargo Terminal
The Liter LLC has the appropriate infrastructure and machinery at the cargo terminal Riga-Precu 2 Latvian Railway, which allows to perform the following services:
- Handling operations
- Supply and removal of rolling stock on the sidings and public-use areas
- Implementation of the siding platform for discharging bulk cargoes and construction materials
- Loading and unloading of goods including passenger automobiles via the platform and double deck ramp
- Transshipment of cargo from road vehicles on wagons and into containers
- Handling and stuffing operation with 20' and 3 - 5 mt containers
Warehouse services
- Storage of goods in open facilities
- Storage of goods in our own covered warehouse of the area of 2000 m2
- we offer lease of the space for warehousing
Machinery
For loading and unloading operations we use:
- Gantry cranes of 20 mt capacity
- Rail-mounted cranes of the capacity up to 16 mt
- Bridge crane of 10 mt capacity
- Front Loaders for processing bulk cargoes
- Forklifts for packaged goods
Railway infrastructure
- The total length of sidings is more than 2 km
- The sidings adjoin the Riga-Precu 2 cargo terminal
- Supply and removal of wagons is done by the LDZ Cargo locomotive
